Salary: €65,000 - €75,000
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Process Analyst to join a dynamic customer-focused technology and business transformation environment in Dublin North.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Business Process Analyst with strong experience in process mapping, business transformation, requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement to work on large-scale, complex business processes across a diverse operational environment.
The initial contract is for 6 months, with potential for extension.
Reporting to a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for understanding, documenting and analysing complex business processes and working with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement.
You will engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, facilitate workshops and interviews, develop detailed As-Is and To-Be process maps, and translate your findings into clear business and functional requirements.
- Discover, document and analyse existing business processes using a range of business analysis techniques.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews and stakeholder engagement sessions with stakeholders at all levels.
- Develop and maintain detailed process maps using recognised methodologies and modelling standards, including BPMN.
- Map complex As-Is processes and identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
- Elicit, analyse, define and prioritise detailed business requirements.
- Conduct root cause analysis and work with business users to develop practical recommendations.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
- Ensure business requirements align with wider technical and functional considerations, including architecture, IT security, data governance and regulatory requirements.
- Support business transformation, change management and adoption activities.
- Build strong working relationships with a broad range of business and technical stakeholders.
- 5+ years' experience working as a Business Analyst / Business Process Analyst within complex operational and technical environments.
- Strong, demonstrable experience in business process mapping and process analysis.
- Excellent knowledge of BPMN and process modelling techniques.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping or similar process improvement methodologies.
- Proven experience facilitating workshops and stakeholder sessions.
- Strong requirements gathering and business analysis skills.
- Experience analysing complex processes and translating findings into practical business improvements.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Highly organised, structured and detail-oriented.
- Business Analysis certification such as CBAP or PMI-PBA.
- Agile certification such as SAFe or Scrum.
- Experience working within a large, complex or highly regulated organisation.
- Experience working across both business and technology teams.
