A Day in the Life
The Business Process Improvement Analyst within the Service and Repair, Technical Enablement Operational and Master Data Support Team is responsible for driving operational excellence, improving process efficiency, and ensuring data accuracy and consistency across global service and repair operations. This role partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to analyze business processes, identify root causes of issues, and implement practical solutions that enhance service performance, support scalability, and strengthen master data governance. The analyst uses data-driven insights to monitor trends, improve workflows, support system enhancements, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enable high-quality global support.The Business Process Improvement Analyst supports global Service and Repair operations through process analysis, issue resolution, data governance, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role works across functional and regional teams to investigate operational challenges, support system enhancements, improve data quality, and deliver solutions that increase efficiency, consistency, and business performance.
Primary Responsibilities
- Analyze operational processes, workflows, and system issues to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
- Support business users by triaging operational and data-related issues, coordinating resolutions, and providing status updates.
- Partner with Information Technology, Service and Repair Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Master Data teams to resolve business process challenges.
- Monitor and maintain service and repair master data to improve accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established standards.
- Support system enhancements, defect resolutions, and implementation activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Gather, document, and translate business requirements into actionable recommendations for technical and functional teams.
- Develop process documentation, knowledge articles, and best practices to improve support efficiency and knowledge sharing.
- Analyze operational data and trends to identify improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, operational support, or related business operations roles.
- Experience investigating business process, system, or data issues and driving issue resolution through root cause analysis.
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and supporting cross-functional projects.
- Experience supporting testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validation of process or system changes.
- Professional proficiency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP Enterprise Central Component (ECC), SAP Customer Service (CS), or Master Data Management (MDM).
- Experience with ServiceNow in a customer service or operational support environment.
- Experience supporting service and repair operations, supply chain, customer service, or global operational support functions.
- Experience within medical device, healthcare, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or other regulated industries.
- Lean Six Sigma certification or experience supporting process improvement, system enhancement, or change management initiatives.
