Business Product Analyst
Air France-KLM Business Service Center Budapest, HungaryWe are looking for a Senior-level Business Product Analyst to join our Integral Planning & Control platform.
Where will you be based?
This vacancy is within the Business Platform Integral Planning & Control (IP&C). IP&C is responsible for developing flexible flight schedules that enable KLM to fly where and when there is demand. In doing so, it balances capacity utilization and reliability, fulfils network commitments and reduces non-performance costs.
The work you do has a direct influence on decision-making regarding flight planning and, consequently, on KLM’s day-to-day operations.
What will you be doing?
As a Business Product Analyst, you’ll be the link between the business and the development team. You’ll gather requirements from stakeholders and translate these into clear and actionable tasks for data analysts, data scientists and software engineers within your team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gathering, specifying and translating user requirements into new functionalities.
- Identifying opportunities for improvement for users and processes.
- Supporting the Product Manager with tasks such as roadmapping, impact analyses and prioritization.
- Facilitating business changes and supporting users through this process.
- Collaborating with engineers and other Business Product Analysts.
- Applying and critically assessing data governance guidelines, such as data ownership, access management and documentation.
With the cross-functional team situated partially in the Netherlands and partially in Hungary, the BPA acts as the bridge to provide context and clarity to their direct colleagues.
Your Profile:
- A higher professional education or university degree with 4+ years’ experience working on data-intensive projects.
- You have an interest in data analysis, operational processes and IT systems.
- You are able to translate information needs into KPIs, metrics, reports and interactive dashboards.
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as SQL and Python is an advantage.
- You find it easy to establish and maintain contact with stakeholders and know how to build rapport.
- You have good communication skills, both verbal and written, in English. Knowledge of Dutch is an advantage.
Furthermore, you must be willing to:
- Work from the KLM office in Budapest for at least 1 day per week.
