Business Product Manager

The Business Product Manager serves as a key member of the Operations Business Product team, partnering with business leaders, process management teams, and Agile development teams to maximize product value. This role owns product strategy, roadmap development, backlog prioritization, and feature delivery for complex, high-impact initiatives that improve operational efficiency, technology capabilities, and customer experience.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

• Create and communicate product vision, roadmap, epics, and priorities aligned to business strategy.

• Own, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog based on business value and organizational goals.

• Partner with stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and prioritize enhancements to systems, platforms, and processes.

• Collaborate with Agile development teams to ensure requirements are clear, refined, and ready for execution.

• Lead product planning activities and present roadmap updates during Program Increment planning events.

• Assess business value, return on investment, and operational impact of new features and initiatives.

• Support testing, validate business requirements, and provide business approval for releases.

• Work across functional teams to drive process improvements that enhance quality, efficiency, and delivery velocity.

• Provide ongoing communication to stakeholders regarding priorities, progress, risks, and outcomes.

• Contribute to Agile best practices and mentor Product Owners when appropriate.

What are the requirements needed for this position?

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a business, technology, product management, or related field.

• PMP certification.

• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and product ownership principles.

• Proven analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

• Experienced managing multiple initiatives and influence cross-functional stakeholders.

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification or equivalent.

• Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, and SQL.

• Advanced degree or 8+ years of technology-focused experience.

• Demonstrated success identifying operational inefficiencies and leading improvement initiatives.

• Travel: Approximately 10%

Pay Range:

$74,600.00 - $124,700.00

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
