We’re recruiting an experienced Business Resilience & Crisis Management Consultant to join a leading global technology company on a 12-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work at a strategic level within a major international technology organisation, helping shape resilience frameworks, influence senior decision-makers and prepare the business for complex, high-impact risks.

  • Duration: 12 months
  • Location: Fully remote within the UK
  • Working hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm
  • Salary £83,000- £93,000

The Role

You’ll play a key role in strengthening organisational resilience, identifying emerging risks and developing crisis management strategies for a complex, fast-paced global business.

Acting as an internal consultant, you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and develop crisis management, business resilience and risk management programmes from the ground up.
  • Identify emerging risks, operational dependencies and potential impacts on business operations and critical services.
  • Develop crisis response plans, playbooks, governance frameworks and readiness assessments.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across Legal, Cybersecurity, HR and Operations to strengthen organisational preparedness.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives, coordinating workstreams, milestones, dependencies and decisions.
  • Produce executive briefings, reports, dashboards and actionable recommendations.
  • Integrate advanced AI tools into daily workflows to improve research, analysis, documentation and operational effectiveness.
  • Identify capability gaps, challenge existing approaches and develop sustainable solutions to complex, unprecedented challenges.

What We’re Looking For

  • Approximately 8–10 years of relevant experience in crisis management, organisational resilience, business continuity, enterprise risk or strategic risk consulting.
  • Demonstrable experience advising senior leaders, influencing decisions and building consensus without direct management authority.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on experience integrating Claude and Codex into everyday workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex risk information into clear, actionable recommendations.
