Business Resilience Manager

  • Contract: 12 months
  • Salary: £93,000 per annum
  • Location: Fully remote – United Kingdom

About the Opportunity

We are recruiting an experienced Business Resilience Manager to join a leading global technology organisation. This is a strategic, highly visible opportunity for a crisis management and organisational resilience specialist who thrives in complex, fast-moving environments and can influence senior leadership.

You will help develop and strengthen enterprise resilience strategies, establish crisis management frameworks and advise cross-functional teams on emerging business risks.

Unlike traditional business continuity roles, this position requires someone comfortable operating without established playbooks, developing innovative solutions to unprecedented challenges and influencing strategic decisions at executive level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, establish and enhance enterprise-wide crisis management and organisational resilience programmes, frameworks and governance structures.
  • Act as a strategic internal consultant, advising senior leaders on emerging risks, crisis preparedness and organisational resilience.
  • Develop crisis response strategies, playbooks and practical solutions for complex, high-impact scenarios where established procedures may not exist.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Cyber Security, HR and other business functions to strengthen organisational readiness and coordinate resilience initiatives.
  • Integrate advanced AI tools, including Claude and Codex, into everyday workflows to improve research, analysis, documentation and operational effectiveness.
  • Conduct risk assessments, identify operational vulnerabilities and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives, influence stakeholders without direct authority and drive delivery against strategic objectives.
  • Produce executive briefings, risk assessments, governance documentation and performance reporting.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 8–10 years of relevant professional experience, with substantial expertise in crisis management, organisational resilience, enterprise risk or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrable experience building crisis management or resilience programmes from the ground up within complex enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on experience using advanced AI tools, particularly Claude and Codex, and integrating them into daily professional workflows.
  • Strong executive stakeholder management, with experience influencing senior leadership and securing alignment across multiple functions.
  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, exercise independent judgement and develop solutions where established processes do not exist.
  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex risk information into clear strategic recommendations.
  • Experience coordinating complex, cross-functional initiatives and delivering measurable business outcomes.

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience within a global technology company or similarly complex multinational organisation.
  • Experience working across Legal, Cyber Security, HR and enterprise risk functions.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled research, analysis, documentation and workflow optimisation.
  • Experience developing crisis response strategies for novel, high-impact or rapidly evolving business risks.

Why Apply?

This position offers the opportunity to operate as a trusted strategic adviser within a globally recognised technology environment.

You will gain exposure to senior decision-makers, influence organisational resilience strategy and work on complex challenges extending beyond conventional business continuity and incident response.

If you have built enterprise resilience programmes, can confidently advise executive stakeholders and actively use AI to improve your work, we would welcome your application.
