Business System Analyst (Card Payment Experience)

Duties & Responsibilities  Assist in managing delivery and release schedules for projects, changes, service requests and mandatory releases as per clients’ SLAs  Actively participate (and possibly lead) in knowledge transfer activities and providing technical leadership and advice as part of the requirements analysis and hand-over  Create client requirements analysis/design documents (where applicable) and High Level Test Cases in view of these being used for the generation of functional and regression test cases  Create, execute and maintain automated and manual tests to ensure that the software delivered to RS2SP is in line with the set business requirements  Actively engage and liaise with the end client on a daily basis as well as internal teams during testing to ensure compliance with the business requirements and agreed specifications/timelines  Help technical teams to create optimal use cases and database design  Coordinate with testing team during various phases of testing and represent end-users in the UAT phase i.e. participating in UAT and PROD support when required. Requirements A Bachelors Degree in Business and Computing or a similar recognised qualification  A minimum of two years of experience within the payment or financial industry, would be considered an asset; Alternatively, candidates with a Product Ownership experience are preferred;  Understanding of requirements gathering processes, such as user stories, use cases, business requirements etc.;  Knowledge of a scripting language, ideally SQL;  Experience with JIRA, Confluence or similar tools would be considered an asset;  Possess good communication skills in both written and spoken English;  Able to perform under pressure;  Good problem-solving skills; and,  Able to prioritise across different tasks and meet deadlines as per business objectives.
