Job Purpose:

The Lead Business Systems Analyst serves as a senior liaison between Information Technology and business stakeholders, with primary responsibility for delivering effective SAP Sales and Distribution and Order-to-Cash solutions. This role leads the analysis, design, testing, implementation, and support of complex business applications and integrated processes. The position provides functional and technical leadership, translates business requirements into sustainable system solutions, and advises management on technology and process decisions. The role may also lead projects, mentor team members, and provide work directions to other professionals.

What Will You Do? 

  • Leads the analysis, design, configuration, testing, implementation, and support of complex business systems and integrated technology solutions.
  • Partners with business stakeholders and IT teams to understand business objectives, document functional and technical requirements, and translate requirements into effective system deliverables.
  • Serves as a subject-matter expert and trusted advisor for SAP Sales and Distribution, Order-to-Cash processes, pricing, payment card solutions, EDI, and third-party ordering integrations.
  • Leads projects from concept through implementation, including scope definition, solution evaluation, planning, coordination, issue resolution, stakeholder communication, and knowledge transfer.
  • Develops and improves methods, procedures, controls, and system processes to address complex business and technical requirements while maintaining system and data integrity.
  • Plans and coordinates end-to-end testing across directly and indirectly integrated solutions, ensuring test plans, test cases, results, defects, and approvals are properly completed and documented.
  • Provides production support by troubleshooting issues, performing data analysis, coordinating corrective actions, recommending process enhancements, and training users.
  • Mentors and coaches team members, provides functional work direction when assigned, and maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies, business processes, and industry practices.

Advanced SAP Sales and Distribution experience, including:

  • Order-to-Cash
  • o Pricing
  • o Credit and payment card processing
  • o Payment card integration

What you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, plus eight or more years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Third-party ordering system integration
  • Experience with SAP integrations involving finance, materials management, manufacturing, warehouse, or other related business processes
  • Experience supporting enterprise-level applications in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Experience translating business requirements into functional specifications, technical requirements, system designs, and test plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to resolve complex and unusual business or system issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and all levels of management.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex assignments in a collaborative environment.
  • Acts as a senior advisor to business and IT management.
  • Builds effective relationships across functional, technical, and leadership teams.
  • Negotiates project priorities, solution approaches, resource needs, and business outcomes.
  • May lead project teams and provide work direction to other team members.

  • Competitive Salary – The pay range takes into account skills, experience, education, and location. It is not common to be hired at or near the top of the range; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the annual pay range is between ​$103,800​ - ​$139,200 Cash compensation is one piece of our competitive total rewards package. You may be eligible to participate in an incentive program, which rewards employees based on individual and organizational performance.
