About the role:
The MES modeler supports Manufacturing Execution System (MES) users and manages the manufacturing configuration. This includes end user support, configuring the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to support manufacturing processes, and creation and maintenance of the Device Master Record in Windchill.
Work model, relocation, & sponsorship:
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to work onsite at our Arden Hills, MN Boston Scientific location at least three days per week.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Rapidly troubleshoot and complete end-user requests
- Create, refine, and troubleshoot MES configurations to optimize quality and operational effectiveness
- Create and manage information related to MES configurations in Windchill
- Collaborate with process owners and project teams to create and optimize solutions
- Provide training, coaching and mentorship for system users and MES support staff
- Participate in cross-functional teams (involving Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Production)
- Identify and implement process and application/system improvements
- Perform and document tests
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Examples of equivalent combinations may include (but are not limited to):
- Associate degree and a minimum of 3 years' relevant professional experience; or
- High school diploma/GED and a minimum of 5 years' relevant professional experience
- Minimum of 1 year experience with software systems supporting manufacturing activities, including Manufacturing Execution, Product Data Management, and ERP systems (e.g. Camstar, Windchill, SAP)
- Ability to manage complex, detailed processes and work assignments
- Strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to excel in a collaborative, team environment
- Ability to adapt to and embrace change
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in technical field
- Experience working in a regulated environment
- Manufacturing experience
- Demonstrated initiative to identify and drive improvements
- Continuous improvement and/or Lean/Six Sigma certification
- Experience with process automation tools (e.g. Excel macros, RPA software)
- Knowledge of CFR, ISO requirements

Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
