CTG is seeking to fill a Business Systems Analyst III opening for our client.

Location: RemoteDuration: 12 months

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage the enterprise API inventory to ensure API data is complete, accurate, current, and accessible for internal reference.

• Partner with application security teams to collect API endpoint data from scanning tools and populate the central API repository.

• Identify API owners and establish governance workflows with ServiceNow teams to maintain accurate ownership and inventory information.

• Facilitate regular API inventory completeness reviews and expand data integrations as needed.

• Collaborate with API portal teams to present inventory data within the API catalog.

• Facilitate moderately complex projects from proposal through implementation and post-implementation.

• Meet with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for assigned applications and systems, including integrated testing and UAT support.

• Assess the impact of application changes across integrated systems and coordinate implementation activities.

• Monitor project scope, requirements, documentation, regulatory obligations, and Corporate Technology standards.

• Coordinate timely resolution of testing and implementation issues and conduct post-implementation follow-up.

• Identify and escalate risk-related issues and maintain internal control and audit requirements.

• Mentor less experienced staff through application training, research analysis, and project methodology guidance.

Scope of Responsibilities:

• Serve as a functional lead for assigned applications and moderately complex projects.

• Research and analyze business and technical requirements to ensure functional designs meet stakeholder needs.

• Collaborate with business, technology, security, ServiceNow, and API portal teams to coordinate requirements, integrations, testing, and governance.

• Ensure functional specifications, change requests, testing documentation, and implementation activities remain aligned with business requirements and applicable standards.

• Support API governance, inventory management, system integration, and application lifecycle activities.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:

• May serve as a functional lead and mentor less experienced staff.

• Coordinate activities across business and technology teams but has no direct supervisory responsibility.

Education and Experience Required:

• Understanding of API components and system integrations.

• Experience facilitating system integration activities and defining governance workflows.

• Minimum of 4 years of combined higher education and/or operational or business analytics experience.

• Proficiency with personal computers and applicable software packages.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects or workstreams of basic to moderate complexity.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

Education and Experience Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree.

• Experience supporting business applications or serving as a subject matter expert for business systems.

• Knowledge of interfacing and integrated applications.

• Experience with project management, word processing, and spreadsheet applications.

• Familiarity with application development software and hardware platforms.

• Understanding of application frameworks and technology environments.

• Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, organization, and time management skills.

• Ability to coordinate across applications, business units, and technology teams.

• Ability to recognize project milestones and delivery dates, recommend solutions, and manage competing priorities.

• Detail-oriented with strong lateral-thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $26.00 - $43.34/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
