Business Systems Engineer

This is a remote position.

• Practical experience using Python to solve real problems.
  
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL for data investigation and troubleshooting.

• Availability for regular working-hour overlap with U.S. Eastern Time.
  

• Experience with Zoho CRM, Zoho Creator, Deluge, or similar business platforms.
  
• Experience supporting internal business applications.
  
• Experience integrating APIs or troubleshooting webhooks.
  
• Familiarity with financial, transaction-processing, real-estate, or CRM workflows.
  
• Experience with QuickBooks integrations.
  
• Familiarity with queues, state machines, race conditions, and idempotent processing.
  
• Experience with Cloudflare or cloud-hosted applications.
  
• Effective use of AI-assisted development tools.
  

• Investigate and resolve technical support tickets affecting internal business users.
  
• Diagnose workflow failures, duplicate events, incorrect state transitions, and data inconsistencies.
  
• Trace problems across Zoho, PostgreSQL, Python services, APIs, and external systems.
  
• Write and maintain Python scripts for troubleshooting, automation, reconciliation, and operational support.
  
• Use PostgreSQL for data investigation and troubleshooting.
  
• Maintain and improve workflows in Zoho and its Deluge low-code environment.
  
• Support live deal-processing and document-generation workflows.
  
• Validate fixes carefully when working with production and financially sensitive data.
  
• Document recurring problems, system behavior, and operational procedures.
  
• Communicate clearly with nontechnical users about incidents, resolutions, and next steps.
  
• Identify repetitive work that can safely be automated.
  
• Gradually assume responsibility for routine platform operations and continuity.
