Role Description This full-time C Software Engineer role is a hybrid position based in Lviv, with a mix of on-site work and some work from home. The engineer will design, implement, and maintain networking-related software components in C, focusing on performance, reliability, and scalability. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, debugging and optimizing existing modules, and contributing to backend services that integrate with open networking platforms. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, participating in code reviews, and following established development workflows and documentation standards. The engineer will also help adapt solutions to specific client environments and support integration with hardware and open-source technologies.

Qualifications
- Solid foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and operating systems.
- Strong skills in Programming with C and experience applying Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts where appropriate.
- Experience in Software Development, including design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of production-grade systems.
- Exposure to Back-End Web Development or network services, APIs, and server-side architectures is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with Linux environments, networking fundamentals (L2/L3, TCP/IP), and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup, communicate clearly with distributed teams, and follow agile or iterative development practices.
- Experience with open networking projects, embedded systems, or working with hardware vendors is a plus.
