CAD Design Engineer (m/f/d)

What do Formula 1 racing cars, aircraft engines, drones and wind turbines have in common?

In all these applications and many more, aerodynamics are optimized and controlled using Vectoflow technology. From individual probes to complete measurement systems, we develop advanced flow measurement solutions using additive manufacturing, aerospace engineering and intelligent software.

As a CAD Design Engineer, you will help design the next generation of aerospace and flow measurement products. You will work closely with engineering, production and product management to develop innovative components and assemblies from concept through manufacturing.

Your responsibilities:

• Design mechanical components and assemblies for standard and custom products
• Create and maintain CAD models and technical drawings
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Chief Engineers and Production
• Support design verification and product improvements
• Work with external suppliers and manufacturing partners
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements and aerospace standards
• Support additive manufacturing development activities
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our products and development processes

What you bring to the table:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development
• Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks or CATIA
• Experience creating technical drawings and manufacturing documentation
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
• Experience with additive manufacturing is a plus
• Experience working with suppliers and production partners
• Hands-on mentality and strong problem-solving skills
• Fluent English; German is a plus
