Your new role

As our new CAD Designer, you will support the development and delivery of engineering projects by producing and maintaining high-quality technical drawings, models and documentation.

You will work closely with engineers, project managers and other technical specialists throughout different stages of project delivery. An important part of the role will be translating engineering input into accurate CAD deliverables, coordinating updates across disciplines and helping ensure that project documentation remains consistent and up to date.

You will become part of Ramboll Energy in Denmark and work within a multidisciplinary environment, collaborating with colleagues in Denmark and across our international organisation.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Prepare, develop and update technical drawings and CAD models based on input from engineers and technical specialists.
  • Support engineering projects throughout design and delivery by producing accurate and consistent technical documentation.
  • Coordinate drawings and design information with engineers and other disciplines to identify and resolve inconsistencies.
  • Maintain and revise project drawings and documentation in line with project requirements, standards and agreed workflows.
  • Contribute to the continuous development of efficient CAD processes, templates and ways of working within the team.

  • A relevant technical education or equivalent professional experience within CAD design or technical drafting.
  • Experience producing technical drawings and documentation for engineering or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of CAD software and the ability to work accurately with detailed technical information.
  • Experience collaborating with engineers and other technical disciplines as part of project delivery.
  • Good written and spoken English and the ability to communicate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
