How will you make an impact in this role? We’re looking for a graduate level intern to support the team on critical and innovative projects as a Summer Marketing Manager Intern. Responsibilities include… Manage marketing and product management strategy for U.S. Consumer Services products and services. Analyze data and propose growth opportunities to help businesses improve performance. Build and track performance indicators to better understand customer behavior. Develop cost-benefit analyses to determine the feasibility of new opportunities. Develop relationships with a variety of internal and external partners. Share and leverage best practices and provide consultancy to team. Manage end-to-end marketing initiatives or other customer-focused initiatives; develop and implement tests to measure efficiency. Find innovative ways to improve customer experience. Minimum Qualifications Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program specializing in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Brand Management, Digital Marketing, Economics or related business field. 2+ years of professional work experience in marketing, brand management, customer insights, market research, product marketing, digital marketing, consulting, strategy, or a related business function. Master’s degree candidates with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028. Preferred Qualifications Passion for customer marketing, payments innovation, travel industry and new technology trends. Ability to conceptualize and sell ideas. Independent thinker who’s organized, has phenomenal attention to detail, and can multi-task. Strong analytical, problem-solving/quantitative skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the United States is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.
