Cantonese to English Interpreter – Remote | No Experience Required

We are hiring fluent Cantonese and English speakers for a paid training program leading to a fully remote interpreter position.

Training Program

Successful candidates will complete a 3-week paid training program designed to prepare them for live interpretation.

Training Schedule:

- 2 hours of live training per day
- Training time: 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM California Time
- Approximately 5 additional hours of paid homework and assignments each week
- 35 paid hours per week during training

Requirements

- Fluency in Cantonese
- Fluency in English
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable internet connection
- Professional and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Availability for a full-time position starting at 7:00 AM California Time
- Ability to successfully complete the required language assessments

No interpretation experience is required.

Hiring Process

4. Candidates who pass the English assessment will proceed to a Cantonese language assessment.
5. Successful candidates will continue through the hiring process.

The assessments are designed to evaluate language fluency and communication ability.

- Mobile phones and tablets are not permitted.
- Ensure you have a stable internet connection.
- Follow all test instructions carefully.
- Do not open other applications, websites, or browser tabs during the assessment.
- The assessment system may detect unauthorized activity and automatically disqualify candidates.
- Keep a pen and paper available for taking notes.
- Complete the English assessment entirely in English.
- Demonstrate your vocabulary and ability to communicate using complete, detailed sentences.
