About us

Vioneta is an early-stage NZ agri-tech startup building amazing innovative technology for the agriculture industry. We're a founder-led team preparing to raise our first institutional round and we want someone who can own that process end to end, from first meeting to signed term sheet.

What you'll do

• Build and manage our investor pipeline across NZ and Australia—angels, seed funds, agri-tech and climate-focused VCs, and strategic investors.
• Secure warm introductions through your existing network (cold outreach is a supporting act only).
• Own the raise process: meetings, follow-ups, partner presentations, due diligence, closing.
• Refine our pitch, narrative, and investor materials with the founders.
• Build and maintain our data room so due diligence never stalls.
• Identify non-dilutive funding grants and co-funding (Callaghan Innovation, NZTE, agritech programs).
• Support term sheet evaluation alongside our lawyers.

What we're looking for

• Proven track record closing early-stage rounds (NZ/AU), ideally seed or pre-seed.
• A real, active network of investors and introducers you can open from day one.
• Credibility in agri-tech, primary industries, or deep-tech (or the ability to get there fast).
• Strong grasp of startup financing: convertibles, priced rounds, cap tables, term sheets
• Exceptional written and verbal communication; self-directed; NZ work rights.
• We prefer candidates based in New Zealand or Australia, and we will give special consideration to applicants from Christchurch, where our agricultural network is already active.

Remuneration—performance based

• Success fee of 4% of all funds raised and received, uncapped, paid within 14 days of funds landing
• Equity of 1% (100,000 ordinary shares), vesting 50% on close of our qualifying raise and 50% at 12 months
• No base salary—this package is for someone who wants to back themselves.
• Full vesting schedule and success fee terms provided to shortlisted candidates.
