Role Description The Car, EV Engineering Senior Expert is responsible for leading technical development and optimization of car and EV systems, including powertrain, battery, safety, and performance features. In this full-time remote role, the expert will design, review, and refine engineering solutions, conduct technical analysis and simulations, and provide guidance on best practices for EV architecture and integration. Daily tasks include collaborating with product, sales, and customer support teams to align engineering decisions with market needs, assisting with root-cause analysis for complex technical issues, and supporting training initiatives for internal stakeholders on EV technologies. The role involves preparing documentation, technical reports, and customer-facing materials that translate complex engineering concepts into clear, practical information. The senior expert will also contribute to long-term technology roadmaps and mentor other engineers to elevate overall technical standards.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused skills, including strong Customer Service capabilities and the ability to support technical inquiries in a clear, respectful manner.
• Deep Automotive knowledge, with hands-on experience in car and EV engineering, vehicle systems, and industry standards.
• Training skills to design and deliver technical training sessions, workshops, and educational materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Sales-related skills to collaborate with sales teams, support technical presales discussions, and help articulate engineering value to prospective clients.
• Insurance-related understanding to work effectively with insurance partners on vehicle risk, safety data, and claims-related technical evaluations.
• Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency with automotive and EV design tools, simulation software, and diagnostic systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote, cross-functional environment.
• Experience in leading projects, mentoring engineers, and contributing to technology strategy is highly beneficial.
