Lilly Canada is searching for a motivated, self-starter with a passion for ongoing learning. Ideally, this candidate has experience selling Cardiometabolic Health medications with physicians and allied healthcare professionals throughout Manitoba, with a focus on the Winnipeg East and surrounding area. Proven success in previous roles has come from creating exceptional customer experiences, demonstrating a high collaborative teamwork approach, and strong leadership. This candidate has experience that is derived from being trained with a needs-based customer interactive model and has demonstrated an ability to learn quickly. The candidate must have strong iPad experience as the core of their daily activity.

At Lilly Canada, sales consultant positions are structured into three levels based on the candidates experience, background, and qualifications. For transparency, the ranges for this position are:

• Associate Sales Consultant: $75,000 - $110,00
• Sales Consultant: $86,250 - $126,500
• Sr Sales Consultant: $102,000 - $149,600

This role is eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as participation in the Lilly Sales Incentive Program and a company car.

As a Lilly Sales Consultant, you will enhance the customer experience by identifying critical needs and delivering optimal pharmaceutical-based healthcare solutions to our customers.

You will develop deep knowledge of our health care system, disease state, product portfolio and therapeutic options. You will identify and develop relationships with customers such as family physicians, specialists, and other health care professionals. Using your Lilly network and resources, you will respond quickly and appropriately to customer concerns and will identify and offer multi-channel solutions that are the most meaningful to your customers. You will analyze and interpret territory data, trends, and develop and implement a detailed territory plan for your portfolio.

Basic Requirements: Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Good understanding of Pharmaceutical Sales Consultant role.

  • Proven ability to develop strong customer relationships.

  • Previous experience in working with Specialists, General/Family Practitioners and Pharmacy in the Winnipeg area.

  • A winning mindset, flexibility, and agility.

  • Strong business acumen.

  • Digital savvy.

  • Ability to optimize use of business insights tools (e.g., Veeva, IQVIA, Tableau) to make good decisions about where to invest time and resources.

  • Proficiency in data analysis.

  • Hospital and/or account sales experience.

  • Recent recognition of leadership, teamwork, customer focus, and performance.

  • Experience managing regional, national, and global thought leaders.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is

$75,000 - $149,600

Full-time equivalent employees may also be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
