Job Summary

The intern will assist the finance and accounting department in preparing financial reports, supporting accounts payable and receivable operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and conducting financial research.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Records: Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and analyses, and maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Payables & Receivables: Support invoice processing and payment reconciliation for accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Planning & Research: Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities and conduct research on financial trends, regulations, and best practices.
• Administrative Support: Collaborate with team members on special projects and provide general administrative support to the finance/accounting department.
  
  

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Technical Setup: A reliable laptop/computer, good internet connection, and a quiet workspace.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel (testing will be conducted on basic functions), and knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Zoho Books).
• Core Competencies: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication, and ability to work independently 5 days a week during business hours.
