What can you expect?

As a Cash Collection Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying outstanding balances and initiating collection activities, including resolving outstanding collections activities, investigating and reporting aged receivables and bad debt positions.

We will count on you to:

  • Support the achievement of Marsh Fiduciary KPIs, including cash collection, DRO, and bad debt reduction, as well as wider business objectives.
  • Promote Marsh policies and procedures, and ensure operational controls are applied consistently to help mitigate business risk.
  • Research and investigate issues to achieve the best possible outcome for Marsh and its clients, including the clearance of outstanding balances.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships through effective communication with colleagues, insurers, and third parties.
  • Manage tasks proactively in line with client requirements, departmental procedures, and role responsibilities and limits of authority.
  • Prioritise workload effectively to meet deadlines and targets while maintaining a high standard of service to Marsh and its clients.
  • Use a flexible and adaptable approach to resolve or oversee complex and/or contentious issues.
  • Take ownership of personal development and professional behaviour, continuously maintaining and strengthening knowledge and skills.

What you need to have

  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
  • University degree (preferably in finance / economics) or recognized accounting qualification
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Practical knowledge of Excel
  • Ability to work within a team environment as a team player and a flexible approach to workundefined
  • Attention to detail
