Show job description
At Wyze, we make smart home technology accessible to everyone. We're known for disrupting markets with high-quality, affordable products - from cameras to lighting to sensors and more. We believe technology should simplify life, not complicate it. We’re a fast-moving, customer-obsessed team driven by curiosity and powered by data.

The Opportunity
Wyze is hiring a Vendor Manager to own the commercial performance of our direct-to-consumer business in North America, including wyze.com in the US and Canada. You will own pricing, promotions, assortment, and bundles across the full Wyze product portfolio. You will be accountable for revenue, promotion efficiency, and contribution profit against plan.
Your vendors are Wyze's own product lines. You will represent the DTC channel to Product, Sales, Finance, and Services. You will negotiate for the offers, launch timing, and selection that grow the channel, and work with Product to bring DTC-specific products and bundles to market.
This is a business owner role. The job requires a lot of analysis, but the goal is to make decisions and deliver results.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the DTC portfolio P&L levers for North America: gross revenue, net revenue, promotion spend and ROI against plan
  • Report against and partner with cross-functional teams on contribution profit against plan
  • Build the unit and revenue plan with the Head of E-commerce and own the DTC demand forecast by SKU
  • Set DTC prices within company pricing guidelines. Align with Sales and Finance on national promotional pricing and price matching
  • Own the promotion calendar: what to promote, when, at what depth, and how to measure incremental impact
  • Manage assortment across new launches, core products, accessories, and end-of-life SKUs. Work with Product to develop DTC-specific products
  • Design bundles, kits, and attach offers that grow order value and profit, including subscriptions sold on DTC
  • Run a weekly business review that explains what happened, why, and which actions close the gap to plan
  • Partner with Inventory Planning, Merchandising, Marketing, Site Development, and Customer Service to turn decisions into execution

What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in vendor management, category management, ecommerce, retail, or related commercial role
  • Experience owning revenue and margin targets, with direct decisions on pricing, promotions, or assortment
  • Fluency in unit economics: gross and net revenue, COGS, promotion cost, and contribution profit
  • A track record of using data to find the highest-value lever, make a decision, and measure the result
  • Experience influencing cross-functional partners and senior leaders without direct authority
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills. Comfortable with SQL or BI tools
  • Clear, concise writing and the ability to explain tradeoffs in plain terms

Helpful, but not required
  • MBA preferred
  • Experience in consumer electronics, smart home, or hardware with subscription services
  • Amazon vendor management or DTC ecommerce experience, ideally on Shopify
  • Experience with demand forecasting, price elasticity, or promotion analytics
  • Experience building bundle, kit, or attach programs

Compensation

The base pay range for this role is $113,000 – $140,000 per year.
