An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Category Manager / Procurement professional to join a global market leader within Integrated Facilities Management.

This is a hands-on strategic sourcing role supporting a major enterprise account, with responsibility for delivering procurement activity across a broad range of Hard and Soft Facilities Management services.

Working closely with procurement, operational and client stakeholders, you'll manage sourcing projects, supplier relationships and commercial negotiations while helping to drive savings, supplier performance and continuous improvement across the account.

As Category Manager, you'll manage end-to-end sourcing activity across a varied FM portfolio, working with key stakeholders to understand requirements, develop sourcing strategies and deliver strong commercial outcomes.

A key requirement for this position is previous procurement experience across both Hard and Soft FM services, with the ability to confidently manage suppliers and sourcing projects across multiple service areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end sourcing and procurement projects across Hard and Soft FM services.
• Develop and execute category and sourcing strategies aligned with business and client requirements.
• Lead tender processes, RFQs/RFPs, supplier evaluations and commercial negotiations.
• Work closely with operational teams and client stakeholders to understand requirements and identify procurement opportunities.
• Deliver cost savings, value creation and commercial improvements across the FM supplier base.
• Manage supplier relationships and support ongoing supplier performance reviews.
• Negotiate contracts, commercial terms and service agreements with key suppliers.
• Support supplier onboarding, contract mobilisation and transition activity.
• Ensure procurement activity complies with internal governance, risk and compliance requirements.
• Track and report savings, sourcing activity and supplier performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and ways of working.
• Collaborate with wider regional procurement teams to share best practice and drive consistency.

We're looking for an experienced Category Manager, Procurement Manager or Senior Buyer with a strong background in Facilities Management procurement.

You'll need demonstrable procurement experience across both Hard and Soft FM categories, ideally including:

Hard FM: Mechanical & Electrical, HVAC, Fire & Security, Building Services, Water Treatment, Lifts, Technical Services.

Soft FM: Cleaning, Catering, Waste Management, Security and other workplace services.

You should also bring strong end-to-end strategic sourcing experience, excellent commercial and negotiation skills, and the ability to build relationships with operational and senior stakeholders.

Experience within an Integrated Facilities Management, Property, Real Estate or outsourced services environment would be particularly valuable.
