The Opportunity The Glanbia Team are looking for a Central Channels Product Owner Reporting into the Consumer channels Product Manager and working as part of the Customer and Consumer Channels team. The successful candidate will be a voice of technical expertise on the team when interacting with the rest of the business. This team is dedicated to digital & creative innovation and excellence, working on some of the world’s best known brands across the Glanbia Group. Leading out key global digital projects, programmes and offering services including media buying & strategy, social media strategy, digital strategy, creative design, website development and UX. Primary responsibilities for this role will include: Lead the delivery of central channels website projects for the group and ensure ongoing maintenance and optimization of existing sites. Develop a deep understanding of business and technology needs; analyse current capabilities and recommend solutions to drive improvement. Communicate priorities clearly and consistently between the team and the wider business. Build trust and strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels by maintaining a client-focused approach. Ownership of CMS platforms and updates, working closely with the Glanbia security team to ensure compliance and timely updates. Manage scheduled updates and collaborate with stakeholders/investors for quarterly results releases, ensuring deadlines are met. Oversee issue resolution by coordinating the right teams to address problems quickly and effectively; manage incident triage as needed. Act as the primary technical point of contact for internal IT teams and external vendors to plan projects, implement change requests, troubleshoot issues, and deliver effective resolutions. Support Glanbia teams in managing and optimizing third-party costs, providing guidance on vendor pricing and negotiation strategies. Manage SSL certificates and domain ownership, ensuring timely updates, renewals, and compliance by coordinating with relevant Glanbia teams. Contribute to technical project planning and management to ensure projects meet deadlines, business objectives, and budget requirements. Lead and mentor a team with diverse technical skill sets, fostering collaboration and growth. The skills and experience you will bring to the team 3rd level qualification in a Technical degree (Computer Applications, Computer Science, Information Systems etc. ), related field or relevant experience 5 or more years’ experience preferably in a fast paced environment Experience leading successful technical teams Comfortable in all aspects of 3rd party management that can be relied upon to build strong relationships Experience working in a complex matrix organisation would be relevant and beneficial Clear and effective communicator through presentations and in writing Experience working with technical software and applications Where and how you will work The opportunity is based in our Kilkenny office with hybrid working arrangements available, which allows you a greater choice in how you work and live, giving you a better work-life balance.
