Role Description The Certified Public Accountant at SWIZZ SOLUTIONS is a full-time role based in Mombasa County, Kenya, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows for some work from home. The CPA will prepare and review financial statements, manage general accounting entries, and ensure compliance with relevant financial reporting standards. Daily tasks include tax preparation and planning, maintaining accurate ledgers, reconciling accounts, and analyzing financial data to support management decisions. The role involves advising clients on financial best practices, monitoring regulatory changes, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to meet reporting deadlines. The CPA will also help improve financial processes and contribute to the development of efficient accounting policies and controls.
Qualifications

• Strong Accounting and Finance skills, including experience with general ledger accounting and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in Financial Statements preparation, review, and interpretation, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Certified Public Accounting (CPA) qualification and solid understanding of relevant professional standards and regulations.
• Experience in Tax Preparation, compliance, and basic tax planning for organizations and individuals.
• Familiarity with accounting software and spreadsheets, and ability to work with digital tools and reporting systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, and ability to explain financial information to non-specialist stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; relevant professional experience in a similar role is preferred.
