Typical Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain active membership in good standing at an Every Nation church.
- Strong biblical knowledge and ability to provide biblically grounded pastoral care and spiritual guidance.
- Ability to build trust and minister effectively to individuals from varying backgrounds and levels of spiritual engagement.
- Demonstrates spiritual maturity, integrity, discretion, sound judgment, and emotional intelligence.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriate pastoral and pastoral and professional boundaries.
- Strong interpersonal, listening, teaching, and communication skills.
- Ability to minister effectively within a high-pressure and highly visible professional setting.
- Ability to recognize needs beyond the scope of pastoral care and make appropriate referrals.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability to Every Nation leadership.
Minimum Qualifying Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in ministry, theology, biblical studies, pastoral ministry, or a related field preferred; equivalent ministry training and experience may be considered.
- Five or more years of pastoral ministry, chaplaincy, discipleship, or related ministry experience preferred.
- Experience ministering within professional athletics or another high-performance environment preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent verbal, written, and public-speaking skills.
- Knowledge of Scripture and the ability to communicate and apply biblical principles in ministry and leadership settings.
- Strong organizational and project-coordination skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, schedules, logistics, and deadlines.
- Ability to build effective relationships with ministry leaders, churches, universities, athletic organizations, and other partners.
- Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and adaptability.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global ministry environment.
Required Licenses/Certificates:
- Current ordination, ministerial license, kor recognized ministerial credential required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to travel as required by the ministry assignment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and other nontraditional hours.
- Ability to attend practices, games, meetings, and ministry activities in a variety of settings.
