About Us Hindawi Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting education, culture, and a love of reading across diverse communities and languages through innovative digital initiatives. Our latest platform, Booktime (launched in 2024), provides free access to a global library of children's books for readers aged 12 and under, available worldwide in multiple languages. The Role We are looking for a Charity Fundraising Executive to help grow our fundraising activities and support the expansion of Booktime around the world. In this role, you will identify fundraising opportunities, build relationships with donors and partners, prepare funding proposals, and support fundraising campaigns. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to help secure the resources needed to increase our impact and reach more children globally. Key Responsibilities Research and identify potential donors, foundations, trusts, and funding opportunities. Build and maintain relationships with donors, partners, and supporters. Prepare grant applications, fundraising proposals, reports, and presentations. Maintain donor records and fundraising databases. Support the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns and initiatives. Work with the marketing team to create fundraising and donor engagement content. Track fundraising activities and provide regular updates and reports. Help develop new fundraising opportunities and partnerships. Ensure donor information is handled confidentially and in line with relevant regulations. Qualifications Experience in fundraising, donor relations, partnerships, business development, sales, account management, grant writing, or similar roles. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Excellent written English with the ability to create clear and persuasive proposals and reports. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database or CRM systems. Experience in the charity, non-profit, education, or social impact sector is a plus. Passion for education, literacy, and creating positive social impact.
