CHARTER | Captain & Chef/Stew Couple | 82ft SY | Med/Caribbean

Job Description This is a remote position. STARTING SEPTEMBER - This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Charter Captain & Chef/Stew couple to join an 82ft UK-flagged sailing yacht ahead of a busy dual-season private and charter programme. The yacht, under new ownership since June is currently chartering in the Mediterranean with a freelance crew and the search for the right long term crew is underway. She will be needing a little yard time while she gets ready for a busy Caribbean winter season of charter and private owner use. This role requires a hands-on, experienced charter Captain/Engineer and Chef/Stew team capable of delivering consistently high standards for family and friends or charter guests. The yacht will run with 3 professional crew and for charters it is possible that a 4th crewmember will be brought on as Stew at busy times to help keep the service standards high. The Programme: Mediterranean summer / Caribbean winter Private and charter usage Maximum 6 guests onboard Additional temporary stew support during busy periods Requirements Captain/Engineer : Yachtmaster Ocean AEC 1& 2 or Proven excellent engineering skills Proven sailing yacht charter experience (monohulls preferably) Strong leadership and organisational skills Chef/Stew: Previous yacht chef experience at similar level Strong dual-role capability (galley + interior) Level 2 Food Hygiene Capability to stand watches Sailing experience Both: STCW ENG1 Positive attitude and strong team ethic Available to start by end September or earlier. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TOP TIPS BEFORE APPLYING: If you’re genuinely interested in this role, take a moment to think about how you present yourself.
