Chartered Financial Planner

We are seeking a Financial Planner to join Benchmark Financial Planning. This role suits an experienced adviser with a strong track record of acquiring and retaining clients, an established professional network, and the credibility to handle complex client needs. You will manage a portfolio of affluent clients, lead sophisticated planning cases, support business growth, and mentor junior colleagues. This is a senior role with real influence on clients, people, and the wider business. What you'll do Deliver holistic financial planning across investments, pensions, protection, and tax. Lead client meetings, fact finds, and the construction of tailored financial plans. Maintain and grow relationships with professional introducers. Develop new business through referrals and networking. Act as a technical reference point for complex cases. Mentor and support junior planners and paraplanners. Maintain strong compliance standards and quality of advice. Contribute to business growth and operational improvement. The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need Chartered Financial Planner status (CII or equivalent). Minimum 5 years’ regulated advisory experience, typically 10+ at this level. Evidence of successful business development through professional networks. Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, tax, and estate planning. Confidence dealing with high‑net‑worth clients. Experience mentoring or supporting less experienced advisers. Strong working knowledge of financial planning systems and tools. The base You’ll be based at our Winchester office, providing a strong local base while working closely with colleagues and advisers across the wider business, including interaction with our head office in Horsham.
