We are looking for a Chief Data Governance Consultant to shape enterprise data governance and data quality frameworks for a client environment. You will partner with cross-functional teams to protect the integrity and security of data assets while driving consistent standards across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Advise data owners, IT teams, data stewards, and other governance stakeholders on establishing and sustaining data quality, integrity, and security across the ecosystem
- Collaborate with the team to define data governance policies and promote best practices
- Drive alignment on business and technical definitions among stakeholders
- Support IT, guided by the Data Architect, to set up physical or logical control over data assets
- Oversee daily technical metadata management, including source, credentials, location, mapping, schemas, and attributes
Requirements
- Proven track record with 7+ years of experience in data governance, data analysis, reference and master data management
- Solid knowledge of DAMA frameworks and principles
- DAMA certification, strongly preferred
- English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or higher
