Role Overview This is an exciting opportunity to step into a pivotal role where you will drive the financial strategy and governance of the company. As a CFO, you will own the financial work stream of the EMI licensing process and lead the finance function towards successful growth. This role demands strategic thinking, a strong regulatory understanding, and the vision to build a robust financial framework. Key Responsibilities Own the financial work stream of the EMI licensing process. Prepare and defend financial projections, budgets, capital and liquidity plans, and stress scenarios. Coordinate financial submissions and communication with regulators, auditors, and advisers. Build finance governance, internal controls, approval processes, and policies. Lead accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and management reporting. Oversee capital adequacy, liquidity, safeguarding, reconciliations, and regulatory reporting. Support senior leadership on pricing, unit economics, costs, funding, and commercial priorities. Build the finance team, systems, and external partnerships required for growth. Requirements 5+ years of senior finance leadership experience, including CFO-level responsibility in an EU-regulated financial institution. Hands-on experience with an EMI, Payment Institution, banking, or similar licence application. Strong knowledge of regulatory reporting, capital adequacy, liquidity, safeguarding, and financial governance. Experience leading accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, audit, and management reporting. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Languages: English, Russian.
