A rapidly growing crypto and digital assets business is seeking a Chief Information Officer (PCF-49) to join its executive leadership team in Ireland.
The organisation is currently progressing through its regulatory journey to become a licensed Crypto-Asset Service Provider (CASP) and is seeking an experienced technology leader to oversee ICT governance, cyber security, operational resilience and technology risk within a highly regulated environment.
This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping the technology strategy and governance framework of a business operating at the forefront of cryptocurrency, digital assets and payments.
The Role
Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Board and senior leadership team, you will be responsible for:
- Leading ICT governance, cyber security and operational resilience.
- Owning the ICT Risk Management Framework and DORA compliance programme.
- Overseeing outsourced technology providers and critical third-party relationships.
- Driving information security governance and incident management.
- Leading business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
- Providing technology risk oversight and challenge to internal and external stakeholders.
- Supporting regulatory engagement with the Central Bank of Ireland.
- Delivering Board-level reporting on technology, resilience and cyber risk.
About You
You will be a senior technology leader with experience operating in regulated environments and managing technology risk, governance and resilience frameworks.
Experience from any of the following sectors would be highly desirable:
- Crypto & Digital Assets
- Cryptocurrency Exchanges
- Digital Asset Custody
- Fintech
- Payments
- E-Money
- Banking
- Financial Services
Key Experience
- Technology leadership within a regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of DORA and ICT Risk Management.
- Cyber Security and Information Security Governance.
- Operational Resilience, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.
- Third-Party Risk and Outsourcing Oversight.
- Board and Regulatory Stakeholder Management.
- Experience supporting regulatory audits and reviews.
