Is this job info correct?

A law firm owner in Georgia built a $4M practice from nothing. She's brilliant at law. She has no idea what to do with her marketing.

She tried a $2,500/month agency that sent her a dashboard full of numbers nobody explained. She tried hiring her niece, who's "good at Instagram." She tried doing it herself at 11pm after the kids were asleep. None of it worked, because none of it was run by someone who'd actually sat in her seat.

That's the gap we built How To MANAGE a Small Law Firm to close. And it's the reason this role exists.

We're looking for someone who has been a Chief Marketing Officer, not adjacent to the role, not the title below it, the actual seat, with the actual budget, reporting to the actual owner. And we're looking for someone whose CMO career happened at businesses that look like hers: $500K to $25M in revenue, one owner in the room, no board, no layers between the decision and the person who makes it.

If that's been your career, you already know what we're talking about. You've sat across from a founder who didn't know what a CAC was and had to explain it in one sentence, not a slide deck. You've made a call on a budget that was real money to someone, not a rounding error on a P&L. You've built the whole thing yourself, because there was no one else to hand it to.

Here's what's different about this role: you won't do it for one business. You'll do it for a portfolio of them, law firms, specifically, as a full-time W-2 employee of HTM, with the clients, systems, and support already built. No chasing your next contract. No finding clients. No "feast or famine." Just the work you're best at, at a scale that multiplies it.

What you'd own:

  • The brand and positioning for each firm, so small-market owners can finally compete with the firms spending ten times their budget.
  • The actual campaigns, not strategy decks that never get executed.
  • The numbers, cost per lead, cost per click, what's working, what isn't, reported in language an owner can act on.
  • The owner, personally, coaching them so marketing stops being a mystery and becomes something they understand.

What this role isn't: a fractional gig. A contract. A stepping stone while you build your own practice on the side. This is full-time, exclusive, W-2, with benefits, and a clear expectation that HTM's clients get all of you.

Compensation: $110,000 base, up to $182,000 with performance.
Location: Remote, if you're currently based in AZ, CO, FL, GA, IL, MD, MI, NC, NJ, NY, PA, TX, VA, or WA, and authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

If you've read this far and you're already thinking about the firm owner in the first paragraph, you're probably who we're looking for.
