Quality, Utilization Management, and Clinical Outcomes
- Lead systemwide efforts to improve participant outcomes, quality performance, and appropriate utilization.
- Monitor hospitalizations, readmissions, emergency department visits, specialty utilization, elective procedures, and other key performance measures.
- Evaluate clinical workflows and utilization practices, identify shared priorities, and implement effective practices across programs.
- Guide interventions that improve wellness and function, strengthen care planning, support exceptional end-of-life care, and reduce avoidable utilization.
- Partner with data and analytics teams to identify trends, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities.
Regulatory, Compliance, and PACE Medical Oversight
- Partner with compliance leadership to ensure adherence to CMS, MDHHS, and PACE requirements.
- Ensure medical leadership structures, reporting relationships, and organizational charts support required oversight.
- Support audit and survey readiness, corrective actions, regulatory reviews, program evaluations, and quality improvement plans.
- Monitor emerging requirements and recommend practical operational responses.
- Strengthen organizational understanding of managed care risk, capitated financing, service authorization, and related compliance responsibilities.
Executive Leadership, Strategy, and Growth
- Serve on the PACE executive leadership team and contribute to strategy, culture, and leadership accountability across the portfolio.
