Role Description The Citrix Engineer/Solutions Architect is a full-time hybrid role based in the Greater Gothenburg Metropolitan Area, with the flexibility to work from home for part of the time. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining Citrix-based solutions, including virtual desktops and application delivery platforms, to support secure and efficient end-user computing. Typical responsibilities include assessing client requirements, creating technical architectures, performing configurations, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting issues across Citrix and related infrastructure components. The Citrix Engineer/Solutions Architect collaborates with internal teams and customers to plan upgrades, optimize environments, ensure security and compliance, and document solutions and operational procedures. The role also includes evaluating new technologies, contributing to best practices, and providing guidance or training to stakeholders to enhance overall infrastructure quality.

Qualifications

• Strong Citrix expertise, including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Workspace, and application/desktop publishing, or similar end-user computing platforms.
• Solid background in IT infrastructure, such as Windows Server administration, Active Directory, networking fundamentals, and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware or Hyper-V).
• Experience with security and performance optimization, including authentication, access control, patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting in multi-site or hybrid environments.
• Ability to design and document technical architectures, translate business requirements into solutions, and participate in implementation and migration projects.
• Proficient in scripting or automation tools (e.g., PowerShell) and comfortable working with management consoles and configuration tools.
• Clear, professional communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders; Swedish language skills are an advantage.
• Proven ability to work in a hybrid setting, manage priorities independently, and contribute effectively in team-based project environments.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Citrix CCA/CCP, Microsoft, VMware) and prior experience as a Citrix engineer, solutions architect, or similar infrastructure role are highly beneficial.
