Damage Claims Handler – Dublin 8 | Match Recruitment

Match Recruitment is delighted to be assisting a dynamic, fast-growing claims management company in Dublin 8 in their search for a Damage Claims Handler to join their motor claims team.

Salary: €40,000 – €55,000, DOE

Location: Dublin 8, hybrid (predominantly remote, one day per week office-based)

The Role:

• Manage a portfolio of motor damage claims from notification through to settlement
• Assess liability and validity of claims, ensuring appropriate checks are carried out
• Liaise with policyholders, repairers, engineers and insurers to progress claims efficiently
• Negotiate repair costs and total loss valuations in line with client authority limits
• Ensure accurate and timely updates across client and internal claims systems
• Deliver a high standard of customer service throughout the claims lifecycle
• Identify and escalate potentially fraudulent claims where appropriate

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in motor damage or general claims handling
• Working knowledge of motor claims processes and market practices
• Strong organisational and negotiation skills
• Comfortable working across multiple client systems
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
