About The Opportunity
Troocoo is partnering with a well-established, purpose-driven insurer to appoint experienced claims leaders to its Brisbane team. The organisation is entering an exciting new chapter, with strong executive leadership and a business-wide transformation focused on delivering better outcomes for customers and the community.
We're reaching out to claims leaders in Sydney and Melbourne who are ready for a move north. The role is based in the Brisbane CBD, so you'll need to be open to relocating to Queensland. Once you're settled, you'll enjoy a hybrid working arrangement, but fully remote work isn't available.
The role
In this hands-on leadership role, you'll lead, coach and motivate a team of personal injury claims specialists to deliver high-quality customer and claims outcomes. You'll manage relationships with a portfolio of business customers and key stakeholders, and provide expert guidance on statutory and common law claims. You'll use data and insights to monitor performance, identify trends and drive continuous improvement. As the business evolves, you'll lead your team confidently through change, keeping them engaged, focused and resilient.

About You

- Experience in a commercial insurance environment, ideally in workers compensation, life insurance or personal injury claims management
- Change management experience, including leading people through change to achieve business outcomes
- Proven success leading teams to achieve goals and building a positive culture where people grow
- Strong communication and relationship skills, with the empathy to deliver great customer outcomes
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
