Introduction
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Client Service Associate to support our Employee Benefits brokerage team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will support account teams with client service, benefits administration, open enrollment activities, renewals, carrier coordination, and day-to-day operational processes that help deliver an exceptional client experience.

Location: Remote (U.S.)
Hours: 8am – 5pm
Position Type: Temporary Full-Time
Start Date: November 9, 2026
Assignment Length: Approximately 6-9 months
This position is ideal for individuals with administrative, customer service, benefits, insurance, or HR experience who are looking to gain valuable exposure to the employee benefits industry while working with a collaborative and high-performing team.
How you'll make an impact
As a Client Service Associate, you'll help support the employee benefits client lifecycle by:
- Assisting account teams with day-to-day client service activities.
- Preparing client communications, reports, presentations, and benefit-related documents.
- Supporting benefits renewals, implementations, and open enrollment activities.
- Preparing and updating benefits summaries, enrollment materials, and open enrollment presentations.
- Coordinating with insurance carriers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to obtain information and documentation.
- Maintaining accurate client records in agency management and document management systems.
- Reviewing eligibility, contribution, census, and plan design information for accuracy.
- Creating and maintaining plan comparison spreadsheets and quote summaries.
- Following established workflows, service standards, and deadlines to ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
About you
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in an administrative, customer service, insurance, benefits, HR, or related support role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Basic math and data analysis skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Behaviors:
- Associate's degree or equivalent training and experience.
- Previous employee benefits, insurance brokerage, or client service experience.
- Experience supporting client relationships and working with carriers or benefits administration systems.
