Its services span the entire employment lifecycle, from pre-employment health screening to support through later working life and retirement, helping people remain well, safe, and productive.


Role Description The Client Operations Specialist is a full-time, hybrid role based in Canterbury, with flexibility for some work from home. This role focuses on coordinating day-to-day client services, including scheduling appointments, managing referrals, and ensuring the smooth delivery of occupational health programs. The specialist will maintain accurate records, update systems, and prepare documentation and reports to support clinical and operational teams. They will act as a key point of contact for client organisations, responding to queries, resolving issues, and supporting service improvements. The role also involves collaborating with colleagues across clinics and mobile units to optimise processes, uphold quality standards, and contribute to a positive, efficient client experience.


Qualifications

  • Strong client service and relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with organisations and workers.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities, including experience coordinating schedules, handling multiple tasks, and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency with office software and digital systems (e.g., MS Office, electronic records, scheduling tools) and accurate data entry skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process improvement and maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and independently in a hybrid environment, balancing office and home-based work.
  • Previous experience in operations, administration, or client support, ideally within healthcare, occupational health, or professional services.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft clear correspondence and prepare basic reports.
  • Relevant education or training in business administration, health services, or a related field is beneficial.
  • Understanding of confidentiality, data protection, and professional conduct in a healthcare or occupational health setting is an advantage.
