Our Annual Meeting is one of the largest medical gatherings in the United States, bringing together thousands of physicians, researchers, and industry leaders each year. Position Summary The Client Program Specialist partners with physician-led nonprofit associations to deliver exceptional management services that support governance, membership, meetings, communications, and operational excellence. The position serves as a trusted resource for volunteer leaders while managing multiple projects, improving business processes, supporting annual meetings, and collaborating across departments to ensure outstanding client service. Role and Responsibilities Client & Association Management Support assigned nonprofit associations by coordinating governance, membership, communications, and operational activities. Serve as a primary point of contact for volunteer leaders, boards, councils, and committees. Ensure compliance with bylaws, policies, and applicable regulations. Build trusted relationships through proactive communication and exceptional customer service. Project & Program Management Manage multiple client programs from planning through execution. Develop project plans, timelines, documentation, and operational resources. Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Coordinate cross-functional work with internal teams. Database & Operational Support Maintain accurate membership and meeting data in association databases. Coordinate with IT and Accounting to resolve system issues and support business processes. Pro,cess registrations, dues, financial transactions, and reconciliations. Prepare reports and maintain data integrity. Meetings & Member Experience Coordinate logistics for meetings, webinars, and educational programs. Support onsite meetings, registration, exhibitors, and committee activities. Respond to member inquiries with professionalism and accuracy. Assist with abstracts, awards, and program planning activities as assigned. Qualifications, Skills, and Education Requirements Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience. Experience supporting nonprofit associations, membership organizations, or complex client programs preferred. Strong organizational, project management, and multitasking skills. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using CRM or association management systems. Ability to travel to 2–3 out-of-state meetings annually, including occasional weekends. Work Environment This position follows a hybrid schedule, with 3 in-office days per week at our San Francisco headquarters. Additional Requirements Ability to lift up to 35 pounds. Ability to travel approximately 6–12 days annually. Eligibility for up to two remote days per week with manager approval. Compensation and Benefits Salary: $92,617 annually This position includes a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, HSA/FSA options, commuter benefits, life and disability insurance, employee assistance programs, wellness initiatives, and additional employee perks.
