Posting Description

Client Service Manager – Pension Administration

About the role

As a Client Service Manager in Pension Administration, you will look after a portfolio of clients and make sure they receive a reliable, high‑quality administration service. You will be the main contact for administration questions, coordinate the work of specialist teams and help improve how we support each client.

What you’ll do

In this role you build strong working relationships with clients and with internal teams across Aon. You explain what services we provide, how we measure them and what clients can expect. You join regular client meetings, share results in a clear way and agree any changes or new projects.

Day to day, you oversee the delivery of pension administration for your clients. You keep track of key tasks, member events and scheme events, and you make sure work is completed on time and to the right standard. When there is an escalation or complaint, you take ownership, bring the right people together and see the issue through to resolution. You also look ahead to spot service risks and put actions in place to manage them.

You act as the main link between Pension Administration teams and other stakeholders such as Client Managers, RIB contacts and other Aon client teams. You coordinate client projects and scheme events from planning through to delivery and you take responsibility for any Errors and Omissions (E&O) cases, agreeing actions and following them through. You prepare straightforward service reports and present them to clients so they understand how their scheme is being run.

You share your knowledge of each client and scheme with colleagues so they can support the work effectively. You give clear feedback and informal coaching to help others grow, and you work closely with Team Managers to agree priorities and workloads. You keep your own pensions and regulatory knowledge up to date and work in line with Aon’s Risk Management Framework and policies, including all mandatory training.

What we’re looking for

You have experience in pensions administration or a similar client‑facing role. You are confident working with clients and colleagues at different levels and you can build trust over time. You manage your time well, are comfortable looking after several clients and projects at once, and you stay calm when priorities change.

You communicate clearly in writing and in person and can explain complex topics in a simple way. You listen carefully to others, take on board different perspectives and use sound judgement when making decisions. You act with professionalism and integrity and you are able to influence people to work together to solve problems.

This role is aligned to Level 3 of the Client Service Manager Aon Leadership Model (ALM) Development Map.
