We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Client Services Manager to play a pivotal leadership role within our Wealth division.

Reporting to the Wealth Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing our Client Service Administration team, overseeing workflow and operational efficiency, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional client service standards across the practice.

This role combines people leadership, operational management and client service excellence. You will work closely with our advisers and leadership team, including direct support to the Partner, ensuring client engagements are managed efficiently, compliance obligations are met and the business operates at the highest professional standard.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a highly capable financial planning professional who enjoys leading teams, improving processes, solving problems and creating an exceptional experience for both clients and staff.
If you're passionate about people, process improvement and operational excellence, we'd love to hear from you.

  • Previous experience as a Senior Client Service Administrator, Team Leader, Client Services Manager or similar role within financial planning or wealth management.
  • A strong understanding of the end-to-end financial advice process, including onboarding, advice preparation, implementation and ongoing service.
  • Proven experience leading, mentoring and developing administration or client service teams.
  • Strong working knowledge of XPlan, workflow management, advice implementation and client review processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and coordinate workflow within a fast-paced professional environment.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on quality, compliance and risk management.
  • A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Lead and support a team of Client Service Administrators, providing coaching, guidance and operational oversight, including a small offshore team.
  • Coordinate team workflow, manage priorities and ensure service standards are consistently achieved.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for operational and client service queries across the Wealth division.
  • Work closely with the Partner and advisers to support client relationships, manage key client deliverables and ensure an exceptional client experience.
  • Conduct file reviews and monitor client records to ensure advice processes, documentation and compliance requirements are consistently maintained.
  • Supporting and coordinating a small offshore administration team.
  • Maintain the integrity of client data, workflows and records within XPlan and associated systems.
  • Identify, lead and implement process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, scalability and client outcomes.
  • Ensure all activities are completed in line with compliance, licensing and regulatory

At Ashfords, you'll enjoy the career opportunities, support and resources of a larger firm, with the influence, visibility and agility of a growing independent business. Our purpose is simple: helping our clients, our people and our firm achieve financial freedom and peace of mind.
