Clinic Operations Manager - Baptist

The Manager manages and oversees the daily operations of the clinics and provides reports, as necessary, to administration.

Education

• Required - High School diploma or equivalent
• Preferred - Additional degrees, business training experience and/or certifications may be combined to meet minimum qualifications. Bachelor's degree in Healthcare or Business Administration or related field

Work Experience

• Required - 7 years related health care experience, including two years of supervision or management experience.
  

Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

• Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of patient information.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process.
• Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role and keyboard
• Financial acumen in order to manage within a budget and understand financial statements sufficient to analyze trends and make recommendations

Job Duties
• Manages systems and relationships to ensure quality care, safety, regulatory compliance and patient satisfaction.
• Determines appropriate staffing levels and interviews, hires, onboards, conducts performance reviews and works with Human Resources on progressive discipline of employees within practice unit(s).
• Acts as practice unit liaison for System-wide information distribution and feedback.
• Monitors and distributes monthly or ad hoc operating reports to all providers and reviews information monthly with departmental physician leader and Director.
• Assists with growth through business planning and special projects.
• Review telephone service and access data daily, readjust staffing levels and recommend to Director any physician staffing changes as needed.

Must be able to work a flexible work schedule (e.g., more than 8 hours a day).

Normal routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluid or tissue and as part of their employment, incumbents are not called upon to perform or assist in emergency care or first aid.
