Position Type: Full-Time

FLSA Status: Exempt/Non-Exempt

Location: Remote

Travel Required: Occasional travel (less than 10%) may be required based on client implementation, training, or business needs.

Prista Corporation’s ActionCue CI is a centralized clinical intelligence platform that helps healthcare organizations manage quality, risk, and performance improvement activities. Hospitals can use one system across multiple locations to identify trends, support proactive improvement efforts, and simplify reporting.


Summary:

The Clinical Application Specialist is responsible for implementing and supporting Prista’s software solution and ensuring a seamless client experience. Working directly with healthcare organizations, this role deploys ActionCue Clinical Intelligence, provides training, resolves issues, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives.


Mission — Why This Role Exists:

The Clinical Application Specialist ensures that healthcare organizations achieve meaningful improvements in quality, risk, and performance through effective use of ActionCue CI. This role bridges clinical expertise, regulatory intelligence, and technology to support compliance, data-driven decision making, and enhanced patient outcomes.


Essential Functions:

• Lead the implementation of ActionCue CI for new clients, ensuring timely and effective onboarding.

• Conduct audits of client instances and resolve findings to support continuous improvement.

• Develop and maintain implementation plans, coordinate client and internal milestones, and document progress in the project plan.

• Deliver ongoing client training and education to improve proficiency, product adoption, and the overall client experience.

• Provide front-line support via the help desk, troubleshooting and resolving user issues in a timely manner.

• Follow applicable privacy, security, and organizational requirements when accessing client systems, troubleshooting issues, handling client information, and developing support or training resources.

• Develop and maintain ActionCue CI user guides and other client-facing resources.

• Document support issues, troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and client communications; identify when escalation is required.

• Maintain and update internal training documentation.

• Collaborate with product teams to represent customer needs.

• Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed.


Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant clinical experience.

• Degree in Nursing or a related clinical field, or equivalent experience.

• Working knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards, including CMS, The Joint Commission, and DNV requirements relevant to quality, risk, patient safety, and performance improvement.

• Strong background in healthcare quality and risk management. Demonstrated experience applying quality assessment and performance improvement (QAPI), regulatory compliance, and clinical risk management principles in healthcare settings.

• Strong understanding of patient safety and quality metrics.

• Experience in training and educating healthcare professionals on quality and risk-related topics.

• Certification in healthcare quality or risk management (e.g., CPHQ, CPHRM) is a plus.

• Experience supporting software implementation, client onboarding, project coordination, or workflow configuration in a healthcare environment is preferred.

• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Proficient with healthcare IT systems and Microsoft Office.

• Team-oriented with proactive mindset.

Salary Description
