HomeWise is an AI-powered caregiver support platform for Singapore families looking after an elderly parent. It answers the question most families start with, which is not "which grab bar" but "my mother fell last week and I do not know where to begin." The AI advisor works in English, Chinese, Malay and Tamil and gives a plan: what to deal with first, what can wait, and what to buy only after the more important things are done. It also checks eligibility for AIC SMF, HDB EASE and caregiver grants, compares home safety products with prices, and helps families prepare for an OT visit. No account is needed. HomeWise is operated by Askinco Pte Ltd, is live at homewise.sg, and a caregiver association has agreed to a trial.

Role description

HomeWise needs a clinical co-founder.The team already covers product, engineering, marketing and outreach. What is missing is a care practitioner who sets the boundaries on what HomeWise says to families.In this role you set the clinical boundaries. You decide where the AI advisor must stop and refer a family to a doctor, a nurse or an occupational therapist. You review the safety content and the caregiver coaching material, and your name goes on it. You tell the founder when something already built is wrong, and it gets changed.You also shape the product from the caregiver's side: which situations we handle next, what families actually ask at the point of crisis, and where existing services already do this better than we could.Over time, this role opens doors to hospitals, VWOs and AIC that a technology founder cannot open alone.Time commitment is flexible and can fit around clinical work. Ten hours a week to start is realistic. This is an equity role, not salaried. Singapore-based, mostly remote, with occasional meetings in person.

Qualifications

• Registered or practising background in nursing, occupational therapy, medical social work, or care coordination in Singapore
• Direct experience with families and caregivers, not only policy or management
• Willing to be publicly named as the clinical reviewer for content families rely on
• Comfortable saying a feature should not ship
• Able to test AI output critically rather than trusting or dismissing it
• ACLP or equivalent adult-education training is an advantage, as part of what we build teaches caregivers rather than only informing them
• Connections within hospitals, VWOs, community care or AIC are an advantage
• Comfortable with early-stage uncertainty and an equity arrangement with vesting
