TeksystemsRole: Clinical Data Entry/Abstraction Specialist Work Environment: Hybrid *Role will transition to remote after mandatory 2-week onsite training at client site in Houston, TX Location: Houston Contract Length: 3 months Description We are seeking three (3) detail-oriented Data Entry Specialists to support a large-scale healthcare data migration initiative. These resources will assist in transitioning patient records from a legacy system into a new healthcare platform by reviewing, validating, and accurately entering patient information. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong data entry experience who thrive in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Review and enter patient record information into the new healthcare system. Validate and verify data accuracy during the migration process. Analyze patient records and determine the appropriate placement of information within the new platform. Identify and escalate data discrepancies when necessary. Maintain productivity goals while ensuring a high level of accuracy. Follow established data governance, privacy, and security standards. Collaborate with project team members and management throughout the migration effort. Required Qualifications 2+ years of data entry, administrative support, or records management experience. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Ability to process high volumes of information efficiently. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications Healthcare industry experience. Experience working with medical records or patient documentation. Exposure to healthcare applications such as Epic, ESO, or similar systems. Previous experience supporting data migration or conversion project Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
