Arisa Health is seeking candidates to fill a Clinical Discharge Coordinator position. The Clinical Discharge Coordinator is responsible for discharging a client from the Electronic Health Records system. This includes processing all discharge summaries, ensuring all draft documentation and future appointments are resolved, removing the client from caseload lists, ending client payer information, and completing the discharge form. The Clinical Discharge coordinator will review the report for needed discharges minimally once a week to identify all needed discharges and complete the associated discharge tasks. Will seek consultation with clinical leadership when needed to address concerns or barriers to discharge.

Arisa provides outpatient services, Crisis services and emergency screening, substance abuse counseling, intensive children services, intensive adult services, medical services, and residential services in 41 Arkansas counties.
This position is classified as full-time, exempt.
Work hours: Due to the nature of the work, the hours can be flexible. This is a on-site position located in Arkansas.

What we look for in a Clinical Discharge Coordinator:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3–12-months office experience required
  • 1-2 years medical record experience required
  • Ability to multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, establish priorities and organize workload
  • Problem- solving mindset
  • Willingness and ability to alter duties to support the needs of the business
