TVG-Medulla, LLC (“Medulla” or the “Company”) was founded in 2007 and is the largest privately-owned chiropractic organization operating 150+ chiropractic and wellness clinics in the U.S. Headquartered in Oak Brook, Illinois, Medulla provides management services to chiropractic organizations with an experienced team of professionals and specialists who provide marketing, revenue cycle management, technology, recruiting, talent management, HR, finance services and real estate management services. Medulla is comprised of 900+ team members across clinics in Alaska, Kansas, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Oregon, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Virginia. Medulla provides therapeutic, corrective, and wellness-based care through 152 Wellness Centers under the brand names ChiroOne, CORE, Arctic and MyoCore. We are industry leaders in evidence-based, non-surgical and non-prescription based integrative patient care. We focus on patient education, patient conversion, and patient treatment, with a consistent focus on clinical outcomes. 85% of revenue is derived from commercial and government payor reimbursements. Medulla’s growth plan is multi-faceted, consisting of growing patients treated in existing clinic through expanded clinic days, optimized processes, improving marketing, and adding clinical capability. In addition, we will continue to acquire clinics and build Denovo clinics to build density in existing market. Over time we will enter new geographies. To increase referral volume and reimbursement we are expanding strategic relationships with health plans, employers, and hospitals. Medulla is well-positioned to continue to capitalize on multiple macroeconomic tailwinds, including a growing critical need for alternative therapies for pain-related ailments, higher out-of-pocket healthcare costs driving consumers to seek cost-effective treatment alternatives, more employers offering wellness programs, and aging demographics which drive higher utilization of chiropractic services. Importantly, the industry is highly fragmented today, with only 2% of the market currently consolidated. The chiropractic industry is in the very early stages of consolidation, and Medulla is an early mover in the consolidation lifecycle. The Company has established a market-leading position as the consolidator of choice for chiropractic care. Our vision is to Inspire and empower people to heal naturally, live vibrantly, and function to their highest potential and our mission is to build a network of clinics with exceptional teams who elevate treatment standards, empower everyone to achieve their mobility goals, and establish chiropractic care as a cornerstone of community wellness.
