About the Role

We are seeking a qualified, experienced psychologist to help establish and oversee PsiQApp's professional verification and clinical quality standards.

The successful candidate will evaluate mental health professionals applying to join the platform, contribute to professional eligibility and verification procedures, and provide expert guidance on the psychological suitability, ethical integrity, and safety of PsiQApp's features and services.

This position combines professional credentialing, psychological expertise, clinical governance, and digital mental health advisory responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Professional Verification & Credentialing

• Review the qualifications, professional registrations, licences, and submitted credentials of psychologists and other mental health professionals applying to PsiQApp.
• Verify eligibility against relevant professional registers, regulatory authorities, and jurisdiction-specific requirements.
• Develop and maintain professional verification criteria and approval procedures.
• Identify potentially misleading credentials, unsupported professional claims, and other professional integrity concerns.
• Recommend approval, rejection, or further review of professional applications based on documented standards.
• Support periodic re-verification and investigation of professional eligibility concerns.

2. Clinical Quality & Ethical Oversight

• Evaluate the psychological appropriateness and safety of the platform's features, resources, and professional services.
• Review psychological assessments, client intake forms, personality tests, and wellbeing-related features.
• Provide professional feedback on PsiQApp's AI-assisted experiences, including their limitations and appropriate use.
• Identify potential ethical risks, misleading psychological claims, and unsuitable mental health content.
• Recommend safeguards for vulnerable users and appropriate pathways to professional or emergency support.

3. Platform Evaluation & Social Suitability

• Assess PsiQApp's overall purpose, psychological relevance, and potential value to individuals, professionals, students, and communities.
• Evaluate whether the platform promotes responsible mental health awareness and appropriate professional engagement.
• Provide feedback on accessibility, inclusivity, cultural sensitivity, and user experience from a psychological perspective.
• Recommend improvements that strengthen the platform's credibility, usefulness, and social responsibility.

4. Professional Standards & Policy Development

• Contribute to the development of professional eligibility and verification policies.
• Recommend professional conduct standards for participating psychologists and other mental health practitioners.
• Establish structured clinical and ethical review procedures.
• Collaborate with the product and technical teams to improve platform safety and professional quality.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

• A recognized degree in Psychology, with appropriate professional registration or licensure.
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong understanding of psychological ethics, professional conduct, and mental health service standards.
• Ability to evaluate professional credentials and communicate evidence-based recommendations.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and public wellbeing.

Desirable

• Experience in clinical or counselling psychology.
• Experience with professional credentialing, regulatory review, or clinical governance.
• Familiarity with digital mental health platforms, telepsychology, or AI-assisted wellbeing tools.
• Knowledge of international professional registration standards.
• Experience in research, psychological assessment, or professional policy development.

• Existing registration as a user or professional member of PsiQApp.com will be considered an added advantage.
