The Clinical Manager will provide expert clinical support across Cochlear’s portfolio, with a strong focus on Cochlear Implants. This role is key to helping clinicians and multidisciplinary teams use Cochlear solutions safely and effectively, while supporting high-quality patient outcomes. Working closely with audiologists, ENT surgeons, speech and language therapists, NHS Trusts, private providers, and internal Cochlear teams, you will deliver clinical education, product training, technical guidance, and support for complex case management. You will also contribute to upgrade programmes, pathway improvement, and service efficiency initiatives. Location: Field-based role covering London and the surrounding region west of London extending to Southampton , requiring regular travel to NHS Trusts and partner organisations across the territory. What you will do: Deliver high-quality clinical training on Cochlear Implant products to audiologists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams. Support clinical teams with device programming, troubleshooting, patient management, activations, and follow-up appointments, where appropriate. Provide expert input on complex Cochlear Implant cases and collaborate with internal teams to resolve escalated clinical issues. Support upgrade pathways, including candidacy, counselling, fitting workflows, troubleshooting, and patient communication. Help clinics identify opportunities to improve patient pathways, reduce bottlenecks, and increase service efficiency. Build trusted relationships with clinical teams across NHS Trusts and private providers and act as a key clinical point of contact. Represent Cochlear at clinical meetings, conferences, workshops, and professional events. Maintain accurate documentation in Salesforce Healthcloud and ensure compliance with relevant quality, governance, and data protection standards. About You: You bring strong clinical expertise in Cochlear Implants or implantable hearing technologies and are confident supporting clinicians in complex clinical environments. You enjoy delivering training, sharing knowledge, and helping clinical teams feel confident in their use of products and best-practice approaches. You are collaborative, proactive, and patient-focused, with the ability to build strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams. You are comfortable working independently while partnering closely with internal teams to deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Required Skills & Experience: Strong clinical expertise in Cochlear Implants and/or implantable hearing technologies. Experience delivering clinical training, product education, or technical support to healthcare professionals. Experience supporting complex clinical cases, troubleshooting, or patient management within hearing healthcare or implantable devices. Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills. Ability to analyse clinical workflows and support pathway optimisation. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Audiology, Hearing Science, Speech and Language Therapy, or a related clinical field. Fluent English. Desired Skills: Experience within NHS Cochlear Implant or implantable hearing services. Experience supporting surgical workflows, activations, follow-up appointments, or complex Cochlear Implant cases. Knowledge of lean pathway design, service improvement, or clinical workflow optimisation. Experience delivering regional or multi-site clinical training. HCPC registration in Audiology, or equivalent clinical certification, would be desirable. Experience using Salesforce CRM or Salesforce Healthcloud. Why choose us?
